Thank you for your interest in supporting the SWHS Lakers Cheer team!
Cheerleading is not considered a "sport" within the Minneapolis Public School district, and while the cheer program receives a small portion of funding through the Southwest High School Athletic Department and the Southwest Foundation, the majority of the costs land on the shoulders of our cheer families, business and individual sponsors, and donations in order to keep the program maintained.
We are grateful for your support!
