2025 MPS Fall Sports Registration

All athletes must be registered through the district in order to take part in any SWHS Laker Cheer activities. If you have not registered, please do so ASAP!

MANDATORY MPS / SWHS Athletic Department Participation Fee for Cheer is $75.00 ($25 for those registered for educational benefits) and can be paid online HERE

Alternate Payment Method: Cash or personal check made payable to "Southwest Athletics"

(Put in a sealed envelope and place inside lockbox in front of the Athletic Office)

*In-person registration will be held at SWHS: Wednesday, August 6 from 5:30-7pm 

SPORTS PHYSICAL - All athletes must have a sports physical on file with the Athletic Department. It stays on file for THREE YEARS. 

• Incoming SWHS Athletes: If you have NOT played another sport at SWHS, you will need to get a sports physical. 

• Seniors: If your last sports physical was submitted for your freshman year or before, you will need to get one for the 2025-2026 season. 

• Please connect with your family physician or make a FREE Minnesota State HS League physical appointment with the School-Based Clinic or TRIA. 

 If your athlete is not registered for the 2025 fall season, they are still required to attend mandatory practice, but will be UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE until registered per the SWHS Athletic Dept
